1. Application
This policy applies to applicants, merchants, platforms, sub-merchants, partners and anyone using AIPower Pay services. It supplements the applicable merchant agreement. A business being listed as restricted does not mean it will be approved.
2. Prohibited activities
You must not use the services for:
- illegal goods, services or transactions, or activity designed to evade law or regulation;
- fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or deceptive payment practices;
- stolen payment credentials, account testing, transaction laundering or undisclosed third-party processing;
- counterfeit, infringing, misrepresented or unlawfully obtained goods;
- malicious software, unauthorised access, identity theft or services intended to facilitate cybercrime;
- unlawful weapons, controlled substances, exploitation, trafficking or content that is unlawful in the relevant market;
- misleading continuity billing, hidden charges, false claims, fabricated fulfilment or unreasonable barriers to cancellation and refunds.
3. Restricted and enhanced-review sectors
The following normally require prior written review and may be declined, limited or subject to additional conditions: gambling and prize activity; adult content or services; cryptoassets and money services; lending, investment and other regulated financial services; pharmaceuticals, telemedicine, supplements, peptides and health products; travel and future-delivery businesses; ticketing; charities; weapons-related goods; high-value goods; and other businesses with elevated regulatory, fulfilment, fraud or dispute risk.
Approval depends on licences, claims, product legality, target markets, fulfilment, marketing, transaction profile and the providers available. Do not process until written activation covers the activity.
4. Merchant duties
You must provide accurate information, maintain required licences and consents, clearly describe products and pricing, deliver what was sold, publish fair customer terms, protect account credentials, respond to support and dispute requests, and comply with applicable law, card-network rules and service instructions.
You must not split, disguise or reroute transactions to avoid limits, monitoring, fees or review.
5. Changes to your business
Tell us before materially changing products, websites, trading names, ownership, countries, fulfilment model, billing model, expected volume or the parties for whom you process. Approval for one business model does not automatically cover another.
6. Platforms and sub-merchants
A platform is responsible for submitting accurate sub-merchant information and ensuring each seller uses the services only within its approved scope. AIPower Pay may review, restrict, suspend or require additional information for a sub-merchant or transaction.
7. Monitoring and action
We may monitor activity, request information, delay or reject activation, set limits, restrict a payment method, hold or delay funds where the agreement permits, suspend processing or terminate services where risk, law, provider requirements or this policy justify action. We will provide notice where lawful and reasonably practicable.
8. Reporting concerns
Report suspected misuse to [email protected]. Do not include full card credentials in ordinary email.
